Abstract

The studying of genetic correlations between character ―"culm thickness of second internode" (CT-2I) and some quantitative characters of generative and vegetative parts of winter wheat. It was establish that correlations of CT-2I with grain weight per ear are stable high by sowing terms and investigation years. The general tendency of correlation decrease of CT-2I with several generative and vegetative characters in late sowing terms was noted. The selection of winter wheat lines on early stages of breeding can be improved by using data from genetic correlations.
